COVID SAFETY POLICIES

For performances at the Martha Graham Studio Theater

The Martha Graham Center has implemented the following plan to minimize the risks to the health and well being of each member of the community. The Graham staff is fully vaccinated and is working to keep our dancers and patrons safe. The Safety Plan has and continues to follow all federal, state, and local guidelines found on the New York City Government website.

The house will open 30 minutes prior to the show. Because there will be a COVID-19 screening process at the door, we encourage patrons to arrive at least 15 minutes in advance.

Patrons should be prepared to wear a mask for the duration of their visit, beginning from their arrival on site.

All patrons must show proof that they are fully-vaccinated. Acceptable forms of proof include vaccine card, photo of vaccine card, New York State’s Excelsior pass, or NYC COVID Safe app. Patrons will be asked to present a form of identification that matches their proof of vaccination.

Per CDC guidance for fully-vaccinated individuals, we ask that patrons who are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, other than those due to chronic conditions, or patrons who have tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 10 days to stay home. If a patron does not pass screening they will not be allowed entry and their tickets will be refunded.
