Studio Rental

The new facility of the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance has three state-of-the-art dance studios available for rental. The spaces are suitable for classes in and auditions for ballet and modern dance, classes in Yoga and Pilates, seminars and lectures, rehearsals and photo shoots. Each studio features sprung maple wood floors, mirrors and barres along two walls, adjustable heating and air conditioning and indirect fluorescent lighting. Available for rental are CD and cassette boom boxes, pianos, VCRs and monitors. Other amenities include a lounge area and well-appointed bathrooms.

Rental Bookings

Space can be booked by phone or in person. All renters must book and pay for space in advance. First-time renters are required to sign a rental agreement policy before using the space. There is a two-hour minimum for rentals after 7:00pm.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Renters who fail to show up for their reserved time will be charged for the full rental.

Amenities

CD/Tape boom boxes are available for $5 per session. Renters may also bring their own.

TV/VCR's are available for $5 per hour.
Pianos may be rented for $10 per hour.

Studio Rules

NO food, drinks, smoking or shoes are allowed in the studios.
It is the responsibility of the renter to leave the studio clean.

Mon, Wed, Fri	9:00am–6:00pm
Tue, Thu	9:00am–7:00pm

Saturday, Sunday, and other hours by appointment only.

316 East 63rd Street, between First and Second Avenues. Enter through the garden gate.
