Prepare for the Company Auditions with our Pre-Audition Workshop!
Martha Graham Dance Company will hold a Pre-Audition Workshop, May 9-11, and Auditions, May 12-13, 2018. The Company seeks strong dancers with a command of Graham Technique™ and ballet. Core dancers are guaranteed 30 weeks of work per year, and are members of the American Guild of Musical Artists AFL-CIO.

Graham Technique™ IV (Advanced/Professional) – with Denise Vale
This class is designed for Professional and Advanced Pre-professional dancers with a strong background in Graham Technique™.
Graham Technique™ II (Intermediate)
This class is designed for Professional and Pre-professional dancers without an extensive background in Graham Technique™.
Current Company Repertory – with Martha Graham Dance Company dancers
Current Repertory will preview choreography and physical vocabulary including movement from the Company’s current repertory by Martha Graham, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Lar Lubovitch and others.
Pre-Audition Class
Graham Technique™ warm-up class specially designed as a preparation for the Audition.
AUDITION AND WORKSHOP FEES
- Pre-Audition Workshop:
Workshop Fee includes $25 Audition Registration Fee.
$180 (3 days) / $80 (1 day)
One Graham Technique™ class + Current Company Repertory
- Audition Registration Fee: $25
Current AGMA members and 2018 Pre-Audition Workshop participants pay no fee.

The Martha Graham Dance Company is seeking strong dancers with a broad range of current performance techniques, ballet as well as the Graham Technique. The Company guarantees 30 weeks of work per year to its core group of dancers. Dancers of the Graham Company are members of the American Guild of Musical Artists AFL-CIO.
